Bovo Technology LTD ("PickingMate", "we", "us", or "our") provides warehouse picking, packing, inventory, and point-of-sale software for e-commerce businesses, delivered through our mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you or your business creates an account, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Staff accounts. If you add pickers or packers to your account, we collect their name and login credentials so they can access the mobile app under your license.
Store connection data. To sync orders, products, and inventory, we store your Shopify or WooCommerce store domain and API credentials. These credentials are encrypted at rest and used only to communicate with your own store on your behalf.
Order and product data. Once connected, we process the order, product, customer, and inventory data your store sends us (including your customers' names, shipping addresses, and order contents) solely to power picking, packing, and stock-management features. We act as a data processor for this data on your behalf.
Payment information. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details — Stripe shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan, billing status, renewal date).
Device and usage data. We collect basic technical data (device type, app version, crash logs, push-notification tokens) to keep the app reliable and to deliver notifications you've opted into.
Uploaded content. If you use the Manual Store feature, we store the product photos and details you upload.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (picking, packing, inventory sync, POS, reporting)
- To process your subscription and send billing-related communications
- To send transactional emails (verification codes, order-status notifications, account updates)
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests
- To monitor and improve the reliability and security of the Service
- To send you product updates or marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time
4. Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of store credentials at rest, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, and access controls limiting who can view customer data. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
5. Data retention
We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. If you close your account, you can request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 7).
6. International transfers
PickingMate serves customers globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and European Union, by our infrastructure and service providers. We take steps to ensure any such transfer provides an adequate level of protection for your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Children's privacy
PickingMate is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
